Press Statement – Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM)
We strongly condemn the brutal state oppression, violent baton charges, firing, and forced arrests of nationalist activists during the peaceful protest of Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM). The state’s attempts to deprive the people of Sindh of their democratic rights, suppress the national movement through violence, and create an atmosphere of fear have always failed—and will fail again.
The people of Sindh are already on the path of national liberation, but the state is deliberately escalating repression, pushing Sindh towards a situation similar to that of Balochistan. The rulers have forgotten that the peak of oppression always leads to the dawn of freedom. Bangladesh, too, was a national movement, but state brutality only accelerated its independence. If the Pakistani state does not abandon its policies of tyranny, the people of Sindh will have no choice but to take the path that Balochistan and Bangladesh once took.

We also demand the immediate release of all nationalist activists who have been forcibly abducted from Moro. Enforced disappearances and illegal detentions are acts of state terrorism, and the Sindhi nation will never accept such injustice.
Furthermore, we categorically reject any new canals on the Indus River. The Indus is the lifeline of Sindh, and we will not tolerate its theft. The resources of Sindh belong to the Sindhi nation, and we will resist every attempt to seize them.
The Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement makes it clear that there will be no compromise on Sindh’s national rights. Whether it is our land, water, resources, or our freedom, our struggle will continue without fear or hesitation until Sindhudesh is free!
