On Saturday, 26th April 2025, the Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM) organized a grand and respectful event in London to commemorate the 30th death anniversary of Sain G.M. Syed, the great leader, thinker, and philosopher of the Sindhi independence movement.
The event was attended by numerous political and social representatives from various circles based in London.
The ceremony commenced with the national anthem of Sindhudesh, followed by the laying of floral tributes and lighting of candles before the portraits of national martyrs. Participants pledged to remain steadfast in continuing the struggle along the path laid out by the martyrs.
Representatives from Sindh, Balochistan, Pashtunistan, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan attended the event in large numbers.
The proceedings were conducted by poet, writer, lawyer, and follower of G.M. Syed’s philosophy, Mansoor Hub.

• Sohail Abro (Chairman, Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement)
“We are followers of Sain G.M. Syed! We reject the State of Pakistan and are ready to make every sacrifice for the freedom of Sindhudesh. No conspiracy to seize our land, resources, and the River Indus will ever succeed. Our land, our identity, and our freedom — we have an inherent right to them. Our national struggle will continue until Sindh gains its independence.

The message of Sain G.M. Syed and the Baloch martyrs is to shake every throne built on tyranny. Sindh and Balochistan will write a new history through their freedom.

Sain G.M. Syed parted ways with Muhammad Ali Jinnah even before the creation of Pakistan. He dedicated his entire life to the struggle for an independent Sindhudesh.

Joint Resolutions:
• Recognition of the internationally acknowledged right to self-determination for Sindh, Balochistan, Pashtunistan, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
• Strong condemnation of enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and the abduction of political activists.
• A demand for an international investigation into human rights violations in Pakistan.
• Emphasis on strengthening joint struggles and unity among oppressed nations.
• Reaffirmation of the commitment to introduce Sain G.M. Syed’s peaceful political philosophy at the international level.
Resolutions Passed:
1. Strong opposition to any canal construction on the River Indus and full support for the ongoing struggle to protect it.
2. Expansion of protest campaigns for the release and freedom of forcibly disappeared national political activists.
3. Condemnation of the attack on Hindu tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
4. Demand for an international investigation into enforced disappearances.
5. Commitment to strengthen the joint struggle for freedom among oppressed nations.
Closing Message:
At the conclusion of the ceremony, all leaders paid tribute to national martyrs and reaffirmed their pledge that the struggle would continue. Oppression, abductions, and tyranny will not halt the national movements. Sindhudesh, Balochistan, Pashtunistan, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan will one day achieve their freedom.
