The abduction of Talib Laghari, a member of the Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM), along with national activists Ashiq Magsi, Noorullah Magsi, and Zafar Magsi by Pakistani state intelligence agencies in Shahdadkot, is a regrettable and condemnable act.

We appeal to human rights organizations, the United Nations, Amnesty International, and Human Rights Watch to take urgent notice of these enforced disappearances and the ongoing human rights violations committed by Pakistani state agencies in Sindh and Balochistan. We urge them to play an active role in ensuring the release of the abducted national activists.

The Chairman of the Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM), Sohail Abro, speaking from London, has emphasized that during tomorrow’s meeting on human rights violations in Sindh and Balochistan, to be held in the British Parliament, a strong voice will be raised against the enforced disappearances of Sindhi and Baloch national activists by state agencies. The meeting will also call for their immediate recovery and release.
